5 Minute Meal of the Week: Pitta Pizzas

This recipe can be a party favourite or midweek dinner. Tailor with optional toppings and dig in!

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Wholemeal pitta breads
  • Tomato puree or passata
  • Mozzarella
  • Tomatoes
  • Tinned sweetcorn/spring onion/mushrooms (optional)

 

Instructions:

 

  1. Pre-heat the grill.
  2. Lightly toast the pitta breads.
  3. Slice the tomatoes and spring onions/mushrooms if these are your chosen toppings.
  4. Spread the tomato puree or passata over the toasted pitta breads.
  5. Tear the mozzarella and load the pitta breads with the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and optional toppings.
