14 Jun 5 Minute Meal of the Week: Pitta Pizzas
This recipe can be a party favourite or midweek dinner. Tailor with optional toppings and dig in!
Ingredients:
- Wholemeal pitta breads
- Tomato puree or passata
- Mozzarella
- Tomatoes
- Tinned sweetcorn/spring onion/mushrooms (optional)
Instructions:
- Pre-heat the grill.
- Lightly toast the pitta breads.
- Slice the tomatoes and spring onions/mushrooms if these are your chosen toppings.
- Spread the tomato puree or passata over the toasted pitta breads.
- Tear the mozzarella and load the pitta breads with the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and optional toppings.
